LAMDA: Performance exams
Performance Exams will improve students’ vocal, physical and interpretive skills while they delve into characters and explore the background of dramatic texts.
For our students who struggle with shyness and social anxiety this is the perfect exam to allow them to build confidence and find their voice.
Emotions of each character are discussed. In this process self awareness is improved, relating the character’s emotions to their own life experiences. If a character in a scene feels an emotion, we aim for the students to think back to a time in their life where they felt a similar or the same emotion to create a truthful, believable performance.
We take a look at the character’s physicality, working on our own physical awareness through this process.
This exam covers all tools a young human will need: voice, physicality and self awareness!
